Sher Afzal Marwat's announcement to withdraw his decision to leave the election campaign
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Tuesday suffered a setback when its increasingly popular leader Sher Afzal Marwat announced his withdrawal from the party's election campaign. However, after a few hours, Sher Afzal Marwat withdrew his decision and announced to run the election campaign as per the schedule.
Sher Afzal Marwat announced his resignation from the election campaign through a statement on social media platform X, in which he said that 'in view of the statements of sick-minded people Hamid Khan and Rauf Hassan against him, I am in Sindh province. Ending my campaign.'
The announcement was yet another bad news for the party after the past few days of negative news as Sher Afzal Marwat has been giving rousing speeches across the country to mobilize PTI's already enthusiastic youth and activists at his rallies. Bad numbers were participating.
