              Ayaz Ahmed Bodla, an independent candidate supported by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has been

 declared successful after the recounting of votes in Shujaabad Provincial Assembly Constituency PP

 222 has been completed.

                               

According to 24 News, in the recount of votes from this constituency, 90 votes of Rana Tahir Shabbir

 were rejected while 45 votes of Mian Ayaz Ahmed were rejected. The process of recounting of votes at

 45 polling stations of constituency PP 222 continued for eight hours and during this time a large

 number of political workers were present outside the Returning Officer's office.
